How to sync HR setup data from ADP?
Under In the "Sync HR Setup Data From ADP" section, click on the “Sync Now” button. Wait /or refresh until the status is changed changes to ‘Success’. This action will sync ADP attributes to with Smart Onboarding.
NOTE: This attribute Note: Run this sync process should be triggered every time if any new attribute values are added /or existing values are modified in ADP . This will to keep the attribute values on the in onboarding side in - sync with ADP.
Note: The attribute values for Rate Type - Hourly (H) and Salaried (S) are not created in Smart Onboarding process after the HR setup data sync process is run. These two values should be manually created through the Attribute Revision (Click here to learn about Attribute Revision) with using the values as seen in the screenshots below screenshots.

The initial step is to sync the Applicant Onboard templates from ADP. Before this, make sure ensure that the template for the New Hire process has been created in ADP with all the necessary configurations.
Click on Click the “Get Templates” button under the "Sync Applicant Onboard Templates" section.
This will sync all the active templates from ADP to Smart Onboarding, including the any custom templates that have been created in ADP.
Select Choose a default template to be used for integrating New Hire data with ADP. At a time, only Only one template can be selected as the default at a time. After selecting the desired default template, click the “Get Template Setup” button corresponding next to that template . This will to copy the template data from ADP.
Note: Clicking on Selecting the checkbox for default template will enable a section at the bottom of the page to page to sync SUI/SDI tax data from ADP. Please For more details, please refer to the following section for more detailssection.
Note: If If the default template is modified in ADP Workforce, then it should be synced you should sync it again to reflect your update the New Hire process. Repeat this step to keep ensure the onboarding side templates remain in - sync with ADP.
How to sync SUI/SDI tax data from ADP?
To sync SUI/SDI tax codes for different states, click on the “Sync SUI/SDI Status” button under the "Sync Tax Data From ADP" section.
Note: This section is populated appears on the page when the checkbox is clicked to select any template once a template is selected as the default.
Note: The Only SUI/SDI tax codes which that are in "Active" status in ADP will only be synced to Smart Onboarding.
The total number of SUI/SDI Tax Codes synced will show be displayed in the message as shown below. In this example, a total number of "13" SUI/SDI Tax Codes are were synced from ADP.

Login to ADP Workforce and navigate to Setup → Tools → Validation Tables Under the Payroll sub-section, scroll down to the Tax Jurisdictions section and click on the "SUI/SDI Jurisdictions" link. The page will display show the active SUI/SDI Tax Codes available for the Company your company in ADP. The total number of active SUI/SDI Tax Codes can be seen at the right bottom is displayed in the bottom right corner of the grid, as shown below. In this example, the total number of active SUIthere are "13" active SUI/SDI Tax Codes are "13" , and only these codes are synced to Smart Onboarding when the “Sync SUI/SDI Status” button is clicked on the ADP Related Configuration page.. To view all the SUI/SDI Tax Codes including the inactive ones, enable the "Show Inactive" button as shown below. In this example, the total number of SUI/SDI tax Codes including the inactive ones are "15" which means the status of the two SDI/SDI Tax Codes is inactive. |
