What is Authentication Preferences?
Authentication Preferences is a page where you can specify if you are using challenge questions and/or two-factor authentication. You can also specify the number of days that the User or New Hire has to complete self registration, before the link expires.
Who can access Authentication Preferences?
System Administrators are the only users who have access to Authentication Preferences.
How do you access Authentication Preferences?
Through the Menu icon, under Misc. Setup, click on Authentication Preferences.

What do the fields mean in the Authentication Preferences page?
You can change any of the fields. Use the chart below to understand what each field means.

The days can be entered in either of the fields to lock the user accounts on completed transactions or corresponding accounts. If days are entered, the users Entering days in any one of the fields will prevent the users that have terminated or completed transactions ock the respective user accounts after the mentioned days. It prevents users that have either terminated or completedLocking the accounts prevents users access into the system
