This option Configure Attribute Preferences allows users to configure the attributes that are being used in the Smart Onboarding process. This process.  This option facilitates to have different attribute configuration related to invitations for different processes through Process Revision.. Any attribute configuration done at the process level overrides the default configuration settings that comes with the system. This includes controlling which attributes will show on a New Hire's invitation and which will show on the Complete Job Details page for HR Specialists, allowing contextual content on certain attributes, and controlling the required fields on the invitation.

Attributes are basic data elements in the Smart Onboarding system. The values of attributes are used to control access within the system, and can be shown on pages and in emails generated in the system.  You can also define your own attributes that can be used for these purposes.
