Let us consider another scenario where the New Hire adds the same preparer twice in Form I-9 Section 1.

Since this is a duplicate entry, one of the invitations needs to be revoked. When duplicate entries are added in preparers, the following error message displays on save.

Since only one of the above two can be mapped to this invitation and because the New Hire cannot know which invitation is linked, they can delete one so that there are no duplicates entries visible in I-9 Section 1.
This can be done by navigating to Invitation Personalization.
