Once the I-9 Specialist completes the I-9 review, the 'File Attachments' page will be in read only mode for the I-9 Specialist as well as the Remote User.

After I-9 review is completed by the I-9 Specialist, the completed I-9 status reflects in the Remote User's home page.

The Remote User's 'File Attachment' page will be in read only mode as below:

What happens when the I-9 Specialist has the Authorized Representative role type?

I-9 Section 2 activity:

When the I-9 Specialist also has ‘Authorized Representative’ role type, below message will be displayed to the I-9 Specialist in Section 2 activity when the transaction is assigned to a Remote I-9 User.

In this case, the I-9 Section 2 activity will be in edit mode for the I-9 Specialist as well as the Remote User.

Also, the attachments will be in edit mode until the Section 2 activity is electronically signed.

The user can complete the Section 2 activity with I-9 Specialist/Authorized Representative role type.  

I-9 Section 3 activity:

When the I-9 Specialist also has ‘Authorized Representative’ role type, below message will be displayed to the I-9 Specialist in Section 3 activity when the transaction is assigned to a Remote I-9 User.

In this case, the I-9 Section 3 activity will be in edit mode for the I-9 Specialist as well as the Remote User.

Also, the attachments will be in edit mode until the Section 3 activity is electronically signed.

The user can complete the Section 3 activity with I-9 Specialist/Authorized Representative role type.
