Let us consider an invitation with E-Verify in 'Unconfirmed Data' status. E-Verify activity showing as pending in My Tasks Console is given below:

When the restart action is performed, the process state of the transaction changes to the 'Restarted' state which can be viewed by navigating to Invitation Console/Elasticsearch Invitation category.

To perform 'Restart Section 1', click on 'Restart Section 1/ Section 2 or 3' button provided at the bottom of the E-Verify page.

The Section 1 activity opens as shown below. Make changes as required, complete Section 1 and submit information to HR for review.

After completing Submit to HR, the process state for this transaction gets updated with the latest status. This completes the New Hire's process and the process routes to HR tasks.
The I-9/HR Specialist can view the updated process status in Invitation Console/Elasticsearch Invitations as shown below:
