If your organization's Authentication Preferences has Two Factor authentication enabled, when you change your "Preferred Email Address" or "Preferred Phone Number" you will need to verify the new email address or the phone number (with new Preferred Phone Number (only when Country Code of the Preferred Phone Number is equal to "001"). This updated Preferred Email Address/Preferred Phone Number will be used in verifying the user contact information during authentication step.
In case if the Country Code of the Preferred Phone Number is not equal to "001", you will not be asked to verify the phone number.

If the entered code is correct, the Preferred Email Address is successfully verified. Similarly, you can update and verify the Preferred Phone Number.
The updated Preferred Email Address/Preferred Phone Number will be considered in identity verification of the user during login authentication step.
Make other changes as needed. Add Home Address/Mailing Address if not entered. You can check the "Same as Home Address" checkbox if your Mailing Address is the same as your Home Address.
