Using this option organizations can create benefit plans for several benefit types such as medical, dental, vision and others. These benefit plans can be grouped as benefit programs and are offered to the employees (including the dependents is optional) while they are employed with the organization.

The System Administrator is the only user who can access the Benefit Plans.

Click on the menu icon and select "Benefit Plans" under Product Setup.

After adding all the details, save the Benefit Plan. The Benefit Plans created should must be added in the Benefit Program to display in process for New Hire in Benefits Enrollment activity. For more details on adding a Benefit Plan in the Benefit Program, please click here.

In case, if attachments are added The attachments configured in the Benefit Plan , they will be available for the New Hire to download when the corresponding Benefit Plan is selected in the Benefits Enrollment activity. However, the availability of Benefit Plan & attachment(s) in Benefits Enrollment activity depends on the effective dates of the attachment, Benefit Plan, Benefit Program and the invitation Start Date. Can you update the effective date of an existing Benefit Plan?

The new row added will show in the grid as shown below. You can use the "Previous" and "Next" options to scroll through the list.

Otherwise, use "View All" option to see the complete list and "Find" option to search for a particular text on the page.

In what scenarios you can modify attachments of an existing Benefit Plan?

The attachments of a Benefit Plan can be modified if there are no invitations transactions with completed Benefits Enrollment activity using completed with that Benefit Plan. 

Click on "Correct History" on the Benefit Plan and click "Add Document" to add a new attachment row.

Note: If the Benefit Plan is has already been used in any a completed Benefits Enrollment activity, then the attachments of that Benefit Plan cannot be modified in the Benefit Plan setup. The However, the details of other sections such as Policy Information, Plan Classification and Rate Data can be modified.

When you access the setup for the above Benefit Plan, you will notice the attachment will be is in read only mode.

The add/delete actions cannot be performed on this attachment. If you notice the The details of other sections , they are will be in edit mode and allow you to modify the values if needed.can be modified as needed,




In case you want to modify the existing attachment in the above Benefit Plan, then add a new effective dated row. This will allow you to add/delete the existing attachment(s).
