System Administrators and Process Administrators can change any of the homepages' layout to fit their organization's needs. The layout can be customized to certain for different types of users, whether or not it is the their initial login or the a regular login.

Note: To change the colors of icons and the overall layouts, refer to to the Theme Builder section.

Homepages?

You can use the "Edit Content" option of in the Home Page Homepage layout preview to edit the color details. Let us take As an example of , let us consider changing the background color for the quick links bar.  

Navigate to Organization Homepage Config under Organization Management through the Menu iconClick the menu icon on the left and select the "Organization Homepage Config" link under Organization Management from the navigation menu.

Enter Search with the Home Page ID or click Searchsimply click on the "Search" button.

The Description column displays can be used to identify the homepage layouts depending on the user type and initial or regular login.Select one of the rows, for which for initial and regular login pages for different user types. For more details on the home page descriptions, please click here.

Select the row corresponding to the homepage you would like to change the layout for.

Click on or hover over one of the setting symbols on the left side for the area of text/background color that you would like to change.  This displays three options: Add Row, Delete Column, Edit Content.

Click Edit ContentSince the requirement is to change the background color of the quick links bar, select the "Edit Content" option from the settings symbol of the quick links bar.

A popup page for Add/Edit Content displays as below.




Scroll down to Background Color and Font Color.  Click to the Background Color and Font Color options.  Click on the text box and to choose a color , or type in enter a hex color code.

Click OKClick OK.

You will notice a change in the background and the font color as per the changes made. Customize other things on this page, and when you are done, click click "
Save".

Enter details and click OK.

The fields and their descriptions A popup page will be displayed to enter the details of the newly added row. 

The fields available on this page are given below:

Background Color
  • Add any color to the background of a column using the color picker or by entering a hex color code
Font Color
  • The color of the text
Padding Top
  • Adds space above the content
Padding Right
  • Adds space on the right of the content
Padding Bottom
  • Adds space below the content
Padding Left
  • Adds space on the left of the content


After entering the above details. click the "OK" button.

This creates will create a row underneath the section (as shown below)

The gears on the right side of each section allows you to delete rows, edit rows, add columns, and let you move the row up or down a section.

You can add columns to already existing rows, or create new rows as shown above. By adding columns, more edit content spaces can be added in the layout. 

Add a column by hovering over the gear icon at the top-right of any section.

You can either add content while creating the column or edit later using using the "Edit Content" option. After entering all the fields, click OK. 

The fields and their descriptions available on the popup page for adding a new column are given below:

  • Decides whether to display the column or image/text
Driven by Category
  • Choose "Yes" to display Category based content based on the attribute setup
    Category ID - Attachments, Images, Mixed Contents, Text Catalogs
  • Choose "No" to display content from predefined content types with no attribute revision required
    Content Type - Text Catalogs/Mixed content/Image/System defined
    Content ID/Image ID - Content that corresponds to the Content Type chosen
Renderer
  • Ability to change the behavior for some Category Types
Content Preview
  • Ability to view the image or text you are adding that is non-category driven
Width (in %)
  • The % of the row that the content should take up
  • If nothing is entered the system will assign a number.
  • If there is only one content for the row the width defaults to 100%
Background Color
  • Add any color to the background of a column using the color picker or by entering a hex color code
Font Color
  • The color of the text
Padding Top
  • Adds space above the content
Padding Right
  • Adds space on the right of the content
Padding Bottom
  • Adds space below the content
Padding Left
  • Adds space on the left of the content


After entering the above details, click the "OK" button.

This adds a new column to the homepage preview.

If required, you can use Edit Content option on the column to add/edit the content.

After customizing the rows and columns, scroll down the page and

click 

click "Save".

How do you delete rows, columns and content?

To delete a row, go to the gear on the right side of any section and click "Delete Row".

The row gets deleted as shown belowThis action will delete the corresponding row.




To delete a column/content, go to the top-left gear of any section and click "Delete Column". This will also delete the content present in the column.

After modifying the rows and/or columns, scroll down the page and click "Save".
