When Smart Onboarding Users, when they first login, are presented with a page users log in for the first time, they are prompted to set up their Challenge Questions and Answers. This setup can be altered anytime modified at any time using the Manage challenge Challenge Questions option. 

Who can access the Manage Challenge Questions option?

Smart Onboarding/I-9 users with all role types roles can access the Manage Challenge Questions option.

How do you access the Manage Challenge Questions option?

Click the Menu icon. Click the menu icon on the left menu navigation and select the "Manage Challenge Questions under My Account.

The current Challenge Questions setup will be opened for editing only if the Challenge Questions option is enabled in the organization's Authentication Preferences. 

If the Challenge Questions are not enabled in the organization's Authentication Preferences, the following message will be displayed on the page.

Challenge Questions?

When you click on Clicking the "Manage Challenge Questions" link in the left menu navigation , the challenge questions page displays as below. To edit the will open the Manage Challenge Questions page. To modify the current details, click on the "Edit"  button given button at the bottom of the page.

Click on "Cancel" button, if you want to cancel the edit and go back to the home page.

Modify your Questions and Answers as needed. Enter hints related to your answers and , then click   "Update".

If Note: If you click the "Cancel" button without updating the saving your changes, the system will ask whether prompt you to either save or discard the changes.

Clicking on "OK" will take you to the Challenge Questions page to save the your changes, whereas the while clicking "Cancel" button will take return you back to the Home Pagehome page.

When you are entering the hints, make sure ensure they are not same as identical to the answers. Otherwise, the system displays will display the following error message as given below.

To modify an existing question, click on the dropdown and select a new one.

In case you want to add a new question to be added to this setup, click on "Add a new question" option provided at the bottom of the page. 

This will add a new question to the setup. row at the bottom as shown below. 

Modify the question as per your choice, set up an answer and the hint. After you are done with the changes, click "Update".

When modifying or adding a new question, do not choose the questions that are already existing in the setup.

The system checks for the duplicates in your selection and throws displays an error if any. Close the message and select a new question from the list.

For all the modified /or added questions, make sure ensure you enter the answers without failfor each one. The system validates will check if answers are set up for the questions.

Entering the provided and display the following error if they are not.

Entering hints is optional. If you don't want the hints to be displayed prefer not to display hints in the Challenge Question login setup, simply remove the any values you have entered in them.

After the updateupdating, you will receive the following an email confirming the changes to your challenge questionsChallenge Questions.

When you have the If Challenge Questions are enabled in the organization's Authentication Preferences, you will be asked required to enter answer them each time you login log into the system.

Unless you answer them correct, you You will not be allowed to login into the systemlog in unless you answer the questions correctly. You can click on "Show" and refer to the view hints to answer them correctlyand help answer the questions accurately.
