Use this option to lock or unlock a user's account.

  • The New Hire's invitation must have been launched.
  • The current user must have the Help Desk Analyst role.

How to lock/unlock an user's account?

The Help Desk Analysts can use the following ways to lock/unlock an user's account.

  • Help Desk Console → Info and Actions
  • keyword Search → "Manage Accounts" Category related actions

Using Help Desk Console

Click the menu icon and then select "Help Desk Console" under Consoles or click "Help Desk Console" link on the Quick links bar.

Select an invitation that has been launched/in progress/completed. Click the "Info and Actions" link for the selected invitation.

Under Actions tab, select "Account Lock".




Click "OK" on the confirmation message.




After confirmation a message shows the user's account has been locked.  




The following email will be sent to the user stating that their account has been locked.




To unlock the user's account, select "Account Unlock" option under Info and Actions "Actions" tab.




Click "OK" on the confirmation message.




After confirmation, the following message shows the user's account has been unlocked.

The following email will be sent to the user after the  account is unlocked. The user can now access the system.
