In this chapter, we will cover one example of each of seven possible E-Verify outcomes:
- The employee is eligible for employment.
- The employee is not eligible due to not contesting an SSA or DHS Tentative Nonconfirmation.
- The employee is not eligible due to an SSA Final Nonconfirmation.
- The employee is not eligible due to a DHS Final Nonconfirmation.
- The employee is not eligible due to an SSA or DHS No Show.
- The employee resigns or is terminated prior to the completion of the E-Verify process.
- The employee is rehired or requires reverification (Section 3).
