When DHS or SSA updates the status of a case, it is not immediately reflected in Smart E-Verify. To be reflected there, the Case Polling batch process must be run. This process looks for messages sent from the DHS E-Verify system, and modifies the I-9 information that relates to these updated cases based on those messages.
Navigate to the Smart E-Verify Case Polling Process by clicking Smart E-Verify Configurator, and then clicking I-9 E-Verify Console.

  1. Navigate to the Case Polling Process

  1. Run the Case Polling Process

Add or select a Run Control ID.
Click Run.
