DHS requires reverification when an employee's work authorization documents are close to expiration. This process looks at work authorization document expiration dates, and selects those employees whose documents will expire within 90 days of when the process is run. These employee records are marked as Awaiting Reverification, and will then be displayed when the Employee Reverification Console is accessed.

In addition, an E-mail notification can be sent to inform an administrator of the employees whose documents are about to expire. Refer to Chapter 8.1 for more information in how to setup the notification.

Navigate to the Smart E-Verify Case Reverification Process by clicking Smart E-Verify Configurator, and then clicking Smart I-9 Reverification Prcs.
