Legal Entity Driver is an attribute chosen for processing I-9s in an organization. The system is delivered with Company set as default value. The This value can be changed based on how you want to perform employment eligibility verification. For example: If you want to perform employment eligibility verification at the Business Unit level, change the Legal Entity Driver value to Business Unit.

The DHS Client Setup interface will display relevant fields based on the selected company or business unit within the Legal Entity Driver. The E-Verify activity will be routed for participating legal entities (companies or business units) only if a web service account is set up for them in the DHS Client Setup.
