This option allows System Administrators to access user details in their organization. The System Administrators can view the user information but cannot make any changes to them.
How do you access user Directory?
Click on the Elasticsearch icon. Select Directory as the Category and enter the keyword. In this case, we have entered the contact type "System User" as the search keyword. Click on "Search" button.
This displays the search results as shown below. To see the details of the user, click on the user name link.
This displays the basic information of the user, phone number (primary) and the email id (primary).
If you want to narrow down the results, use facets to apply search filters.
What actions can you perform through Directory?
No actions are allowed through Elasticsearch user Directory. If the System Administartor has to modify the user settings, they need to search through "Contact Search" category.
