Mixed Content

What is Mixed Content?

Mixed Content allows you to further customize the homepage by using a text editor to create flexible links. When users click on these links under various headings, a pop-up window appears displaying embedded videos, links, or text related to that topic. For example, a Training Video heading contains videos, while a News heading is primarily text. This Mixed Content feature helps organize the homepage and use space efficiently.

How do you add Mixed Content?

This requires creating a new Content Revision or modifying an existing in-progress one. For more details on creating a Content Revision, please click here.

On the Content Revision page, click "Add" in the Mixed Content row.

Add content details on the below page. Enter a Description, Content Label, and click the "Content Explanation" link.




Enter the text that will appear in the pop-up message box after clicking on the Content Label. You can also embed a video or insert a link by clicking on the corresponding symbols.

After adding the content, click the "OK" button.

To add more than one content label to the list, click "Add" and enter the corresponding content details. Once the details are added, save the Mixed Content information.




On the Content Revision page, click the "Return to Manage Revision" button to return to the revision main page.

Apply the revision. Once the revision is applied, this Mixed Content must be included in the Homepage Configuration to view the added content in the process.




How to modify a Mixed Content?

Create a Content Revision or update an existing in-progress Content Revision.

Click "Review/Update" on the Mixed Content row.

Select the content that you wish to modify.



Make changes as necessary and save.

Apply the revision for the content changes to take effect.

How do you add Mixed Content to the Homepage?

Refer to Modify Homepage Content for Homepage Configuration to get to this step. Here is how adding Mixed Content to the Homepage Configuration looks like.

Select "Mixed Content" for Content Type, click on the "Content ID" lookup to choose the desired content, adjust the format, and then click "OK".

The content that you have added will be shown on the Homepage Configuration preview. Save the configuration.

As configured, the added content will show in the process for the user.
