This process includes an AE (SI9_PACKT_AE) which can be scheduled to run on a daily basis to compile and download I-9 packets of process completed transactions of the Organization. When the AE runs, it picks the I-9 IDs of all the process completed transactions with the I-9 packet compiled and downloads them in the file location as mentioned in the application package. The I-9s that are downloaded once, will not be picked up the next time when the AE is run. Depending on the download option setup (allows two options: "Download all I-9" or "New I-9"), the AE will decide whether to download all I-9s or only the I-9s that have not been downloaded before. For all the I-9 IDs that are picked up by the AE, the "I-9 Packet Printed" flag is set to 'Y' in the I-9 Master.
What transactions are picked up by the AE?
The I-9 must satisfy the following conditions to be picked up by the AE:
- All the processes associated with the I-9 must be in process completed status
(Note: I-9s that are terminated or termination date set also get picked up by the AE) - The I-9 must not be purged
What information is downloaded in the I-9 packet?
After running the AE to success, navigate to the file location mentioned in the AE to check for the downloads. The list shows as below.
Each I-9 packet downloaded is identified by its Form ID.
Each Form ID folder includes individual folders for attachments, DHS letters and signed forms and an I-9 Audit report as shown below.
Click on folders to open their files.

How do you identify the I-9s with the I-9 packet downloaded?
You can identify these I-9s by checking the I-9 Packet Printed flag in the I-9 Master. For all these I-9 IDs that AE has picked up, the I-9 Packet Printed flag in the I-9 Master is enabled.
There are two ways to navigate to the I-9 Master.
Access via I-9 Console
For the Form IDs downloaded above, you can get the I-9 IDs and view their I-9 Master in the I-9 Console. Navigate to I-9 Console and click on the I-9 Form ID lookup icon.
Enter Form ID in the lookup field and click on "Look Up" button.
Instead, you can also use Quick Filter option for searching the Form ID. Click on the Form ID/I-9 ID link in search result.
The Form ID populates on the I-9 Console page as shown below. Now, click on the "Search" button.
This will display the matching I-9 row for the entered Form ID.
Click on the I-9 ID link and select I-9 Master.
The Form I-9 Master page shows as below. Scroll down to "Quick glance - Flags" and see the "I-9 Packet Printed" flag enabled.
Access via Elasticsearch
Another way to view I-9 Master is through Elasticsearch I-9 related actions. You can use any of the I-9 related categories like I-9 Status or I-9 Compliance for viewing the I-9 Master.
Like in I-9 Console, Form ID cannot be used for searching the I-9 details. You must provide specific detail of the invitation such as the candidate's First Name, Last Name, Invitation ID, SSN, DOB or others as the search keyword to get the matching row. If you want to see more keyword options, click on "More Options" link provided above the "Search" button.
This will expand the options. You can use any of these fields for searching.
If you are not sure about the search keyword, please use Elasticsearch help for keyword options.
As an example, here we have used candidate's Last Name and Start Date as the keywords.
The search result shows as below. Click on "..." and select "View I-9 Master" option to see the Form I-9 Master page.
Note: You can also use "All/all" as the search keyword but that will fetch all the rows in I-9 Status category.
To see only process completed rows scroll through the facets on the left side and click on "Completed" link under Process Status.
The search result shows only process completed invitations.
Select any invitation, click on "..." to open its related actions and select "View I-9 Master".
