Users can make corrections to Supplement B for The correction process for Supplement B can be initiated if changes are needed to the most recent reverification or name change details associated with an I-9 ID. The correction options for Supplement B (reverification or name change) are available in the I-9 Console or Keyword Search actions only if Supplement B corrections they are enabled in the I-9 Options setup and a prior reverification or name change process has been completed for that specific I-9 ID.

The Supplement B correction options are accessible in via I-9 Console actions or Elasticsearch Keyword Search actions in the "Employee I-9 Life Cycle" category related actions.

How to enable Supplement B corrections?

If supplement the Supplement B correction options are do not showing up appear in the I-9 Console actions even if an I-9 ID has , despite having a prior completed  completed reverification /or name change process, it means indicates that Supplement B corrections are not enabled in the I-9 Options setup. Click  Click on the menu icon and navigate to in the top left corner of the page and select "I-9 Options" in from the left navigation menu navigation. Note: The System Administrators can access "I-9 Options" under the Product Setup whereas section, while I-9 Specialists can find this it under "utilitiesUtilities".

Check "Allow I-9 Supplement B Correction"  and checkbox and click "Save".

The I-9 Specialists can perform as many Supplement B corrections as needed for updating /or correcting the New Hire's I-9 data.
