Users can make corrections to Supplement B for the most recent reverification or name change details associated with an I-9 ID. The correction options are available in the I-9 Console only if Supplement B corrections are enabled in I-9 Options setup and a prior reverification or name change process has been completed for that specific I-9 ID.

What are the types of Supplement B corrections?

The Supplement B corrections are of two types - Reverification Correction and Name Change Correction.

Who can perform Supplement B corrections?

Users with I-9 Specialist role are allowed to perform Supplement B corrections.

Where do you find Supplement B correction options?

The Supplement B correction options are accessible in I-9 Console actions or Elasticsearch Life Cycle category related actions.

How to enable Supplement B corrections?

If supplement B correction options are not showing up in the I-9 Console actions even if an I-9 ID has a prior completed  reverification/name change process, it means that Supplement B corrections are not enabled in the I-9 Options setup. 

Click on the menu icon and navigate to "I-9 Options" in the left menu navigation. Note: The System Administrators can access "I-9 Options" under Product Setup whereas I-9 Specialists can find this under "utilities".

Check "Allow I-9 Supplement B Correction" and click "Save".

How many Supplement B corrections can be performed on a transaction?

The I-9 Specialists can perform as many Supplement B corrections as needed for updating/correcting the New Hire's data.
