What is Authentication Preferences?

Authentication Preferences is a page where you can edit Organization Name, Primary Contact, Secondary Contact, Support Contact, Default Theme, Theme Driver, Default Logo, and Mobile Logo. It is an easy way to change these important aspects of your organization.

Who can access Authentication Preferences?

System Administrators are the only users who have access to Authentication Preferences.

How do you access Authentication Preferences?

Through the Menu Icon, under Misc. Setup, click on Authentication Prefs.

What do the fields mean in the Authentication Preferences page?

Change any of the fields. Use the chart below to understand what each field means.

  • If checked on, users and new hires are asked to answer their challenge questions each time they log into the system.
  • If checked off, no challenge questions are presented
  • If checked on, users and new hires are asked to verify both their phone and email when they self register, and are asked to verify one or the other each time they log into the system.
  • If checked off, no validation of phone or email is required
