What is Organization Homepage Configuration?
Organization Homepage Configuration is a function that allows the System Administrator or Process Administrators to change the information that is displayed on the first page they see after logging into Smart Onboarding, or the Homepage without having to code any HTML.
This information can be changed for System Administrator, All other Users and New Hires, allowing you to show separate components and content for users of differing types. In addition you can display content based on master attributes like Company, Business Unit and Location.
Where is Organization Homepage Configuration in the Business Process?
A System Administrator or Process Administrator is able to access the Organization Homepage Configuration as soon as the System Administrator has completed the Initial System Administrator Organization Onboarding. We deliver basic Home Pages but if you want to modify them, you should do it as early in the process as possible. Any User or New Hire will be affected by the Home Page setup.
Why is Organization Homepage Configuration needed in the Business Process?
The Organization Homepage Configuration is needed in order to tailor the information you wish to display to certain user types at varying points throughout their onboarding process.
There are currently five homepages you are able to configure for a single organization: You can change colors, images, videos etc. to match your Organization's branding and culture.

How do you access Organization Homepage Configuration?
If you are a System Administrator or a Process Administrator, the Organization Home Page Configuration is accessed by clicking on the Menu Icon and selecting the Organization Homepage Config link.

1 | Homepage ID | The homepage ID lets the Process Administrator know which homepage is being currently modified |
2 | Description | The Description field allows you to write a brief description describing the current homepage |
3 | Effective Date | Effective Date allows the Process Administrator to determine when the changes should become visible to user |
4 | Effective Sequence | Allows the Process Administrator to make multiple changes in the same day. The system will choose the Active profile with the highest Effective Sequence number |
5 | Status | Active: The current homepage is able to be displayed to the user Inactive: The current homepage is not able to be displayed to the user In Progress: The current homepage is currently being worked on, thus will not be displayed to the user |
6 | Layout Preview | Where you can preview the layout of all content on the selected homepage |
7 | List Links | Allows the Process Administrator to quickly switch between homepages without going back to search |
