What is I-9 Audit?
This is a component added to the I-9 process to audit the changes made to the data or forms in all sections. The audit report is available to users through I-9 Console.
Who has access to the I-9 Audit?
Business Users with I-9 Specialist role can access I-9 Audit.
How do you access I-9 Audit details?
There are two ways to access the I-9 Audit details in I-9 Console.
- Access via I-9 ID
- As a link on the I-9 Summary page
Access via I-9 ID
Click I-9 Console in the Quick Links bar or under the Menu icon.
Click on any I-9 ID.
A drop down is displayed with three options. Select I-9 Audit from the list.
The audit page is displayed as below.

Navigate to I-9 Console and select an I-9 ID.

The page navigates to I-9 Summary if there is only one invitation associated to the I-9 ID. If I-9 has more than one invitation, you will see the list of invitations displayed along with their business processes for which the invitation was created. Select any invitation ID.
The I-9 Summary page is displayed as shown. Click on Audit Details link.
The Audit page opens up for that I-9 ID.
What information is shown in the I-9 Audit page?
The I-9 Audit page contains
- I-9 Header details
- Grids for each business process containing the Form I-9 Audit details (Section 1 & Section 2)
I-9 Header details
The I-9 header details include I-9 ID, I-9 status, name of the candidate, important date fields and the legal entity.
Grid(s) for business process launched
Since the I-9 shown above has two business processes associated to it, the audit page contains two grids one for each process.
Click on the right arrow to expand and navigate to Form I-9 Section 1/Section 2.
Example below shows Section 1 data for I-9 Section 1 correction process. As you can see, the old and new values are captured and displayed along with the effective date and sequence.
