What is Mixed Content?

Mixed Content allows you to customize the homepage further, by having links that have lots of flexibility using a text editor. Under the headings, when a user clicks on the links, a pop up window displays embedded videos, links, or text. For example, there is a Training Video heading that contains videos and a News heading that is mostly text. Mixed Content feature allows the homepage to be organized and use space efficiently.

How do you add Mixed Content?

Create a Content Revision or modify an existing Content Revision.

Click Add for the content type Mixed Content.

Enter a Description, Content Label,  and click on Content Explanation.

Enter the text that will appear in a message pop up box after clicking on the Content Label.

You can also embed a link by clicking on the link symbol.

After entering the content, click OK.

 If you want to add more than one content label to the content list, click Add.

Then click Return to Manage Revision.

Click Apply.

How do you modify Mixed Content?

Create a Content Revision or update an In Progress Content Revision.

Click on Review/Update for the content type Mixed Content.

Click on the Content Name that you want to modify.

After modifying the Description and Content label, click Save.

On the Content Revision page, click Return to Manage Revision and Apply the Content Revision.

How do you add Mixed Content to the Homepage?

Below is what adding Mixed Content looks like.

Select Mixed Content for Content Type, click on Content ID lookup to choose the content that you want to add, adjust the format and click OK.

The content that you have added is displayed on the Home Page. Click Save.
