What is the DHS Client Setup?

DHS Client Setup is used to set up the user and password information for accessing the USCIS E-Verify system.  If you are not planning on using E-Verify, this step is not needed.

Who can access the DHS Client Setup?

The System Administrator is the only user who can access the DHS Client Setup.

How do you access the DHS Client Setup?

Click the Menu icon.

Under Integration select DHS Client Setup.

  • The DHS Version that you are using.
  • Set to Test for testing, Production for production.
  • Each company can use a different DHS User ID and password (or the same). Add a scroll row for each company.
  • The User ID on the DHS site that the company uses for communicating with USCIS E-Verify.
  • The Password for the user on the DHS site that the company uses for communicating with USCIS E-Verify.
  • Re-type the Password.
