Why do I need a Content Revision?
Content Revisions are created to make changes to Content. For example, if you want to set up a Verification Vendor, you would add or update the Verification Vendor in a Content Revision. This change would not show in the business process until the Content Revision was applied.
Administrative Users can control when changes make it to the final system and also define the date when these changes will take effect.
What are the types of Content?
The table below lists the different types of content that can be added or modified.

Attachments | Document that you wish to attach to an Onboarding activity. |
Text Catalogs | Text objects that can be used on an Onboarding activity or displayed on the homepage. |
Image Management | Image that you wish to add to the Onboarding system. Used in different content revisions and other places. |
Mixed Content | Flexible links on a homepage that allows for embedding video, links, and text in a pop up message. |
PDF Templates | Writable PDF template that can be later be dynamically filled out during the Onboading process. |
Forms that are a part of the onboarding process, including ways to make sure the user agrees, understands, and fills certain fields out. It is also used to make supplemental attributes, specifying who can do or view any particular task | |
Smart Checklists | Checklists to make a user complete certain tasks during the onboarding process. |
Other company's services and forms that can check your employees for various information. | |
Background Check Vendors | The companies that are partnered to complete background checks for your New Hires; this includes the background check forms. |
How many Content Revisions are allowed at a time?
You may have as many active Content Revisions at a time as you would like. This is to allow your organization to have multiple users entering or changing content at the same time with their own Content Revision.
Process Revisions, on the other hand, can only have one active Revision at any given time.

How do I create a Content Revision?
To create a Content Revision, click the Menu Icon and select Add/Update Revision under Manage Revisions.

From this page, an Administrative User can either search for an existing revision to modify, or they can select Add a New Value at the top of the page if they wish to create a brand new revision.

The first step is to Reserve the revision. This saves the descriptive information and assigns a revision number. Click Reserve.

After reserving the revision, select Configure to add content to the revision.

How do I add or change content in a Content Revision?
From the Content page, there is a tile for each type of content the Administrative User can add or change in their Onboarding system. Details for adding or modifying each of these types of content can be found in the sections of the documentation below this one.

How do I apply a Content Revision?
The Content added to the Revision will not be added until you 'apply' the revision.
To apply the revision, select Return to Revision Manager and select Apply at the bottom of the page.

How do I withdraw a Content Revision?
The content added to the revision will not be added until you 'apply' the revision.
If you wish to discard the changes you made in the current revision, select Withdraw at the bottom of the Revision Manager page.
However, once applied, you cannot withdraw the revision (you can still replace or disable them during configuration).
