We are happy to announce the following EAD date calculation adjustment has been released as part of our update on April 21st, 2024.

Temporary increase of automatic extension of EADs from 180 days to 540 days:

On April 8, 2024, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced a temporary final rule (89 FR 24628), increasing the automatic extension period for Employment Authorization Documents (EAD) by an additional 360 days beyond its usual 180-day timeframe, allowing for a total extension of up to 540 days of authorization.

Following this update, the temporary extension of the employment authorization to up to 540 days is now in effect. This regulation applies to all EAD auto extension transactions processed after the implementation of this update and is anticipated to remain in effect until September 30, 2025. Following the likely reversion by DHS to the standard 180-day extension period after September 30, 2025, our application will be adjusted accordingly, and changes will be communicated through our release notes. Further details can be accessed on the EAD auto extension page.

I-9 and E-Verify enhancements
