We have divided the I-9 processing into two roles:  I-9 Specialist and E-Verify Specialist. The I-9 Specialist performs verification of the candidate's information, while the E-Verify Specialist initiates and follows through the DHS E-Verification process.  In practice, both of these roles might be performed by the same person or group.
